# Card account transfer-out FX quote

Requests a real-time FX quote for transferring funds out of a Card Account (CA). This locks in the exchange rate for selling USD to buy a target currency.

* **Currencies**: The receiving currency (for VA group or Crypto Wallet) is required, while the payment currency is always USD.
* **Quote Generation**: A `quoteId` is returned only if the payment `amount` (in USD) is provided.
* **Entity Binding**: The quote is bound to the requesting entity; the exact same entity must be used for the subsequent order.
* **Note**: For instant Card Account to Crypto Wallet transfers, use `POST /crypto-wallet/transfer`.
